Dear SM Friends, Supporters and Members,

Are you ready to Rock 'n' Bowl again?! Our organizing committee is getting ready for another fun afternoon of family fun and bowling! Just as last year, we will have goodies for sale, lots of prizes and trophies, rock-n-roll music on the jukebox and all the glory for the winning teams, of course.

Purpose: for the children of Vietnam, of course!

Event Summary

On July 25, 2009, about 200 people young and old, tall and short, male and female, gather at the Palace Lanes to participate in the Sunflower Mission second annual bowl-a-thon fundraiser. Amid the music and the laughter, with many “gutter” balls and the occasional “strike”, everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Who can forget the scenes of all little girls and boys who could barely carry the heavy balls... and yet they managed to ‘throw’ that ball down those lanes! Together we raised almost $17,000 and this will enable Sunflower Mission to finish 2 more classrooms and give out over 20 more scholarships to the children of Vietnam in 2009.
