"Love your neighbors as yourself" is one of the traditions valued amongst our Vietnamese people. Today, the society is revolving in the direction of industrialization and modernization. Essentially the disparity between the rich and the poor is quickly spreading with clear distinction. Looking through the poor and underprivileged, for each family the causes of situation are different from one to another. However, these situations result in most heartbreaking pictures depicting children of the poor. These children hardly meet the conditions to attend school. They do not have the privilege to education. This is the reason our tradition, "love your neighbors as yourself" has developed further outsides the border. International charity funding programs for children of Viet Nam are very meaningful and of good deeds. The gesture of caring for the needy is overwhelming to us. We, the people of Viet Name in general, and especially the citizens of Ben Tre and the Educational Collectives of An Thoi Common High School, after receiving the scholarships for our students, would like to express our gratitude with respect to SM Dao-Le Scholarship. Before your presence, Sister Ngoc Hoa, the Board of Education and An Thoi High School is engraving this gratitude in our Golden Book as the school tradition. Concurrently, the school will now be more obligated to work with these families to incur better conditions and ensure the proper use of the funding toward the children's education as required by SM Dao-Le Scholarship.
