On July 1, 2009, Jonathan, 10 years old, accompanied his parents, Mr. Peter Cuong Tran (Sunflower Mission’s former director and now advisor) and Mrs. Khanh Tran, to attend the completion ceremony for Vinh Hoa Elementary School in Kien Giang. This school consists of 6 classrooms and is the largest school Sunflower Mission has built to date. With this school completed, Sunflower Mission has finished 90 classrooms since it was founded in late 2002.
