LOVE, HOPE, GRATITUDE
We want to thank everyone who tuned in on the 5th. We had over 340 guests from 10 different countries and 95 cities join us. Of our U.S. viewership, we had 19 states represented! A special thank you to those who donated. You helped us exceed anything we could have dreamed!
Congratulations to our raffle winner Tung from Hue, Vietnam! When it is safe to travel again, we can’t wait for you to join us on a work camp summer trip.
If you weren’t able to catch our event live, here is the recorded link. You can watch anytime and at your convenience https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ngtfWgtyV_4.
Did you catch our event!? We hope everyone was as inspired, touched, and motivated as we were. Not only did we raise an incredible amount to further education for students in Vietnam, we got to hear from our scholarship recipients, volunteers in Vietnam, and watch some amazing performances from our supporters. What a great way to spend a Saturday night! Stay tuned for the recorded link. Thank you to everyone that made Love, Hope, Gratitude happen!
LOVE, HOPE, GRATITUDE! Saturday December 5th from 8:00 PM - 9:30 PM CST (U.S.). Tune in to enjoy international and local artists performing original and well-loved songs while supporting education and helping students in Vietnam. Check your local time to ensure you catch us at the right hour!
Be sure to tell your friends that you have plans with us, Sunflower Mission, on December 5, 2020 8:00 PM - 9:30 PM CST and that you would love for them to ‘join’ you! Registration and participation is free and open to all.
In the face of unparalleled challenges caused by COVID-19, Sunflower Mission (SM) continues to operate with unwavering commitment in America and Vietnam. Our operations consist of 4 pillars: Classroom Construction, Work Camp, Scholarships, and Service. While we are able to continue 3 out of the 4 with resilience, in late February we had to cancel the 2020 Work Camp as the safety of all participants was our top priority. We now face a similar decision.
SM has had a tradition of holding an annual gala in late September. It is a time for us to come together and hear about progress made; share our common purpose; and contribute to the cause we believe in. Given the public health crisis, it would be irresponsible for us to have an in-person event. No matter how carefully planned, hosting hundreds of people in one room will only exacerbate the spread of Covid-19.
In lieu of a face-to-face gathering, Sunflower Mission will hold a virtual event on December 5, 2020 8-9:30 PM CST. The theme will be LOVE, HOPE, GRATITUDE.
We invite you to join us by holding the date with more information to follow! Thank you for walking the journey, despite the tumult of this year, with Sunflower Mission.
