Sunflower Mission Receives Motorola Solutions Foundation Grant
Sunflower Mission, today announced it has received a grant for $25,000 USD from the Motorola Solutions Foundation, the charitable arm of Motorola Solutions. Through this grant, Sunflower Mission will continue their work of bringing education resources, school buildings, and scholarships to students in Vietnam.
This grant will help support our Engineering & Technology Scholarship program. This scholarship specifically supports college students, in Vietnam, studying in the STEM fields. Students are selected based on excellent technical competency in their chosen field and future civic leadership potential with the ultimate goal of changing the world through STEM. The Motorola Solutions Foundation, which has donated $100 million over the past 10 years, focuses its giving on three key areas: first responder programming, technology and engineering education, and programs that blend the two.
The Foundation has a long-standing commitment to supporting programs that benefit underrepresented populations and aims to partner with organizations that align to its values of accountability, innovation, impact, diversity and inclusion.
