Day 2, Trip 2

My name is Zachary Phi and this is my second time going to Vietnam for Sunflower Mission. Today, we finished up what we started on our first day painting. Then after lunch, a lot of the team members went to go visit a couple of families within the village. I stayed back to just finish up a few spots on walls we needed to paint.

Then in the down swing of things, we saw some kids from the village come over and interact with us. Interacting with the kids is always my favorite part because they just love to have fun. We played some frisbee with them and they loved learning to play a new game. Seeing their eagerness to learn is the best part of the work camp because it’s uplifting and makes you realize that everything we are doing at Sunflower Mission is making an impact on the lives of so many kids. Thankfully I’ll get to see those kids and many others in a few days. I cannot wait for them to see what we have planned.
